To All Readers of Help! I Have A Fire In My Kitchen Rosh HaShanah the Jewish New Year is upon us. It begins a time of introspection and prayers for the coming year. We search through the foibles and mistakes of the past in order to understand how to make the future better. For the two days of Rosh HaShanah we eat honey upon our bread. It is but a simple tradition, reminding us of the sweetness of all life has to offer and the sweetness to come. May this coming year bring an end to wanton destruction and death. May it be the beginning of a new dawn - where we learn to understand, respect and accept one another. May it be the end of sorrow and tears.
